WICKED!

My good friend Jenn and I took a brief but fabulous trip to New York City this weekend. Last night we went to see WICKED on Broadway. I cannot stop thinking about it. Simply the most fabulous Broadway show I have ever seen! I highly recommend it!
While I was away, summer began, officially! We arrived this evening at 7:30 p.m. and the sun still glowed in the sky reminding me of how much I love this season. Long days, good friends and many memories yet to make.

Yarmouth Police 5K road race

I was asked to be the "official" photographer of the 1st annual Yarmouth Police 5K road race today. The race started at 11 a.m. this morning at the Skipper Restaurant in Yarmouth. YPD had a great turn out too, at least 275 runners/walkers showed up in support.
On a more personal note, it was Averys first road race and I am so very proud of her! She ran the entire race and finished with a sprint. Yeah Avery!!
I was very happy to be a part of this day and can only hope that I be asked back again next year.

Here we go....

... into another season! It was so nice to be back on the beach this evening photographing such fun kids. I have to admit that I was a little worried this morning with the rain and the wind. I was sure this portrait would be rescheduled. The sky cleared, the wind subsided and it turned out to be a glorious night at this Dennis beach. In fact, the sun was so brilliant that we had to wait until it was setting to get the right light. I look forward to many nights like this with the sand between my toes!

Angels Hope

I spent my morning today photographing this benefit walk to raise money for Angels Hope. An inspiring group of people who came together in honor of loved ones and family members who have been affected by cancer. The little girl in pink was the "ambassador" of the event. What a beautiful child! A bundle of Joy!
